2025-04-03
The antioxidant BLE-W and antioxidant BLE differ significantly in chemical composition, application, and properties.
Chemical composition and properties
Antioxidant BLE: Chemically known as 9,9-dimethylacridine, with the molecular formula C15H15N, it is a light-gray liquid that is non-toxic and readily soluble in organic solvents such as acetone and benzene, but insoluble in water.
Antioxidant BLE-W: Its chemical composition is the reaction product of 4,4’-(1-methylethylidene)diphenol with isobutene and styrene, or the reaction product of 2-propanone diphenylamine. It has a molecular formula of C12H11N·C3H6O, appears as a brown powder, and is readily soluble in acetone, benzene, chloroform, and ethanol. It exhibits slight solubility in gasoline but is completely insoluble in water.
Usage
BLE Antioxidant: Primarily used in natural rubber as well as synthetic rubbers such as chloroprene, nitrile, styrene-butadiene, and cis-butadiene, and in latex. It offers excellent protection against heat, oxygen, ozone, weathering, and flexing, making it ideal for manufacturing industrial products like tire treads, conveyor belts, and hoses.
BLE-W Antioxidant: a versatile rubber antioxidant that provides excellent protection against heat, oxygen, flexing, and fatigue aging. It is suitable for use in natural rubber as well as various synthetic rubbers such as chloroprene, cis-butadiene, nitrile, and styrene-butadiene rubbers, and even in plastics like polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyolefins. Primarily used in the manufacturing of tires, hoses, belts, and other industrial rubber products, this antioxidant also delivers unique benefits by enhancing the adhesion between rubber and metal components.
