Usage
This product is one of the rare antioxidant varieties among amines that are non-toxic, odorless, and exhibit a light color. It is widely used in various elastomers as well as in plastic color masterbatches for polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyvinyl chloride. Additionally, it serves as an effective antioxidant for polyurethane foam plastics, rubber wires and cables, food packaging materials, and adhesives. Notably, in neoprene-based colored cable jackets, antioxidant KY-405 demonstrates exceptional resistance to heat, light, and aging. It also performs admirably as a light-stabilizing, anti-aging, and antioxidant additive in polyether resins and their corresponding foams, and can even be utilized as an antioxidant in lubricating oils. This product is particularly effective in protecting neoprene, acrylate rubber, polyether polyols, and other materials from degradation caused by high temperatures, UV exposure, and other environmental factors. Moreover, it exhibits excellent synergistic effects when combined with sulfur-containing antioxidants.
